ABOUT TEXAS ELITE
Julie Powell, DC, DACNB, RN, MSN, FNP, NP-C is a native Texan and graduated from the University of Texas in Austin with a Bachelor’s degree of Biology-PreMed. Her doctorate license was obtained in 1997 from Parker College of Chiropractic. In 1998, she received her diplomate in Neurology from Cleveland College in Kansas City, MO. For the past 20 years, she has enjoyed a thriving practice in Plano and has enjoyed watching her patients grow!
In 2008, she furthered her career by enrolling in a Family Nurse Practitioner program. In 2011, she graduated summa cum laude from Samford University in Birmingham. For the past 7 years she has worked both in Family Medicine and Internal Medicine at Baylor Scott and White clinics.
She enjoys the outdoors on the tennis courts and golf courses. International travel is another passion with her favorite countries being Sweden and Ireland. She is a mother to a very active toddler and a wife to her loving husband!

Dr. Powell specializes in Family Practice and Urgent Care medicine in Tyler, Texas. Dr. Powell has 18 years of experience as an MD, her hospital affiliations are Trinity Mother Frances and University of Texas Health Science Center at Tyler. Education at University of Texas Medical School at San Antonio and the University of Texas at Austin undergraduate. She is proud to be part of the team of Texas Elite Health Clinic, LLC as medical director.
Carol Powell
Accounts Payable
Carol joined the practice in 1998. She is an indispensable part of the team by managing the accounts payable of both locations. To better manage this process, she is proficient in QuickBooks Business Accounting Software. She resides in Carrollton with her husband, Charles Powell.
Emily Espinosa
Office Manager
Emily was raised in McKinney and graduated from Boyd high school. She is a certified medical assistant and phlebotomist from Concorde career college. She plans on furthering her education by becoming a registered nurse. Emily is also currently operating her own eyelash extension studio and is very artistically driven individual. She loves spending time with her family and dog, King.
